December 14 – 18, 2010

My first foray into curating was during my NVQ course run by Mapalim, Kentish Town, London in December 2010. Working with my group, I helped set up the week long exhibition/event entitled The Institute of Kentish Town, which invited people to come and contribute to an archive, incorporating found objects, maps, and memories. Our sub group, comprising photographers Nic HarperJocelyn Allen, and myself, also ran a quiz night with questions ranging from local to general knowledge.
