Un-Straight Museum Conference 2014: Tackling Institutional Homophobia
Janet Dugdale, Director of the Museum of Liverpool,
decided to “do something good” with the Council of Europe 2013 cash prize for
their April Ashley exhibition, Portrait
of a Lady, so turned to Liverpool-based arts and social justice
organisation, and co-organiser of the exhibition, Homotopia, to organise this seminal
conference.
